Craftsmanship

The frame is hand-prepared and gilded with genuine moon gold leaf, 22 carats. Gold is applied leaf by leaf, ensuring even coverage across the entire surface of the moulding. Traditional craft techniques ensure the durability and elegance of every piece.

After gilding, the gold layer is gently burnished, revealing a darker underlayer that shows through and adds depth to the finish — the colour is uneven in the best sense: warm, with a brown-gold tone characteristic of hand-gilding techniques.

The moulding profile is geometric and calm: two narrow gilded reeds frame a wide cream panel. This is a frame with a clear, defined form and no elaborate ornamentation — it works equally well with classic and contemporary interiors.

The front panel and the sides of the frame are hand-painted in the same shade of cream and white — with no colour break between surfaces. The mirror looks consistent from every angle, which matters when hanging in narrower spaces or on side walls.

The frame is sealed with a moisture-resistant lacquer — the mirror can be hung in a bathroom without risk of damage to the finish.

A bevelled glass option is available up to 20 mm width, adding an additional classic detail to the mirror.

Additional option: anti-fog mirror with heating mat
