Mirror in a black solid wood frame. 67 mm moulding, multi-layer paint and lacquer, semi-matte black finish. SGG Miralite® Pure Diamant 4 mm OptiWhite glass. Made to measure according to the customer's external dimensions.
A black solid wood frame never goes out of style. This mirror combines a classic multi-step moulding profile with a deep semi-matte black finish — a pairing that works equally well in contemporary and traditional interiors. The wide 67 mm moulding commands attention and gives the piece genuine presence. More than a functional object, it becomes a decorative element in its own right — one that defines the character of a room rather than merely filling a wall.
Interiors it works in
Semi-matte black pairs naturally with white, grey, beige and anthracite walls. In minimalist modern interiors, a single strong accent like this frame sets the visual tone for the entire space. It is equally at home in classical rooms with dark furniture and metal detailing. The pronounced moulding profile reads well against high ceilings and large wall surfaces, where a more delicate frame would disappear entirely.
It works as a wall mirror in the living room, a full-length mirror in the bedroom, an optically enlarging element in an entrance hall, and — thanks to the frame's moisture resistance — in the bathroom as well. Both wall-hung and freestanding options are available in this frame.

Craftsmanship
The frame is made from solid wood. The corners are joined with wooden dowels — this ensures structural stability and resistance to warping over years of use. The joints are made before any finishing is applied, so the corners are tight, flush and invisible after painting. This is in sharp contrast to mass-produced frames where adhesive joints tend to open up over time.
The surface is built up in multiple coats: each layer is sanded before the next is applied. The result is a smooth, even finish in a deep black with a refined semi-matte sheen. The sides of the frame are painted in the same colour as the front panel — the finish is consistent throughout. Traditional craft techniques ensure the durability and elegance of every piece.
How this frame differs from mass production
Factory-produced frames are typically assembled from extruded MDF or composite profiles, joined with adhesives and metal fasteners — connections that show over time. In this frame, solid wood corners are joined with wooden dowels, providing structural integrity that mass production cannot replicate.
Every decorative mirror in this range is made individually — there are no standard sizes and no stock. Made-to-measure mirrors are produced to the exact external dimensions provided by the customer, so the piece fits the intended space precisely. Both wall mirrors and freestanding mirrors in this series are made to the same standard — these are mirrors built to last.
Functionality
The mirror is fitted with wall brackets on the back, allowing it to be hung in both portrait and landscape orientation. The back is finished with an MDF panel. The SGG Miralite® Pure Diamant 4 mm glass in OptiWhite delivers exceptional clarity, accurate colour rendering and long-term durability. The frame's moisture resistance makes it suitable for bathroom installation without additional treatment.
Optional: mirror with bevel
The mirror glass can be supplied as a 5 mm OptiWhite pane with a bevel — a polished diagonal edge running along the full perimeter of the glass. The bevel adds a decorative detail that becomes particularly visible in angled light. This option should be requested before placing your order.
Optional add-on: anti-fog mirror with heating mat
An anti-fog heating mat can be added to the mirror on request. The mat is fitted behind the glass and connected to the electrical installation, keeping the mirror surface clear immediately after showering. This option should be requested before placing your order.
Personalisation and made-to-measure ordering
The mirror is made to measure based on the customer's external dimensions (frame included). The standard finish is semi-matte black. A high-gloss black finish is also available, and the frame can be produced in any other colour from our range of high-pigment craft paints — just send references, photos or samples.
