Bathroom mirror in a solid wood frame, hand-painted in high-gloss white. Softly rounded corners, 22 mm moulding. Made to measure, with an optional anti-fog heating mat.

A white mirror in a solid wood frame is a choice for anyone who wants a calm, uncluttered form in the bathroom or hallway. Softly rounded corners take the edge off the rectangle and make the frame feel light, despite its solid construction. The high-gloss white front reflects light and visually opens up the room — a quality that works especially well in smaller bathrooms. Decorative mirrors in this form suit the space above a washbasin, a dressing area, or work as a standalone accent in modern interiors where ornament is kept to a minimum.

Where this mirror fits

A smooth white frame belongs in Scandinavian, minimalist, modern classic, and japandi interiors. It sits well against light walls — white, ecru, dusty grey, sage — and pairs naturally with marble tiles and pale wood bathroom furniture. In a bathroom it becomes a practical fixture above the washbasin; in a hallway it brings order to the space and underlines the character of the interior without heavy textures. It also works above a bedroom dresser or in a walk-in wardrobe. Rounded corners feel kinder to the eye than sharp edges, which matters in tight bathrooms and passageways.

Craftsmanship

The frame is built from high-quality solid wood. Corners are joined with wooden dowels, which keeps the structure stable and resistant to warping over years of use. The joints are made before the surface is finished, so the lacquer flows uninterrupted along the full length of the frame with no visible seams. The surface is painted in multiple layers and sealed with a hard polyurethane lacquer, which forms a smooth, durable coating resistant to moisture, scratches, and daily cleaning. This is the same type of finish used on premium kitchen and bathroom furniture — far more durable than the spray paints found on mass-produced mirrors. The front and sides of the frame are painted in the same colour — the white is uniform from every angle, including the inner edge of the moulding that remains visible once the mirror is hung. The profile is simple, with a softly shaped outer edge that gives the frame the feel of a calm, rounded block. Traditional craft techniques ensure the durability and elegance of every piece.

How this frame differs from mass production

Mass-produced bathroom mirrors are usually made from MDF or plastic profiles, finished with foil wraps or a quick spray coat. After a few years in a damp room such frames swell at the corners and peel along the edges. This one is built from solid wood, joined by hand, then painted and lacquered in multiple layers — a slower process, but it produces a frame that ages without cracks or delamination. Every piece is made by hand, with every step checked along the way. The collection includes both wall mirrors and freestanding mirrors in a similar style — if you need a matching set for the bathroom and bedroom, both formats can share the same finish.

Functionality

The mirror can be hung vertically or horizontally — you can choose the orientation when ordering or decide at the time of installation, since the brackets accept either layout. The backing is an MDF board that protects the glass from behind and adds rigidity to the frame. The standard glass is SGG Miralite® Pure Diamant 4 mm on an OptiWhite base — a low-iron glass that gives a neutral reflection without the greenish tint typical of ordinary mirrors. Both the lacquered frame and the mirror coating are moisture-resistant, so the mirror can be used in a bathroom with a shower.

Option: mirror with bevel

On request the mirror can be made with a thicker 5 mm OptiWhite glass with a bevel — the low iron content delivers the same neutral, colour-true reflection as the standard glass, while the extra thickness allows for a more pronounced, more decorative bevel. This option suits anyone who wants to emphasise the edge of the glass with a subtle additional play of light.

Additional option: anti-fog mirror with heating mat

A heating mat can be fitted behind the mirror glass. Wired into the bathroom lighting circuit, it gently warms the glass so that it does not fog up after a shower or bath. Installation is carried out by an electrician during mounting.

Customisation and made-to-measure orders

Mirrors are made to measure in the dimensions and finish you choose. The frame is available in high-gloss white and in a semi-matte version — both finishes can be ordered for this model. A palette of over one hundred colours from a curated, richly pigmented paint range is also available — from classic greys, beiges and blacks, through deeper shades such as bottle green, navy, dusty pink and terracotta, to bolder tones that can become a strong accent in modern interiors. The frame on this model is finished with polyurethane paint — the same kind of coating used on premium kitchen furniture, hard, moisture-resistant and able to withstand daily wear, which matters especially in a bathroom. The surface is smooth and uniform, scratch-resistant and easy to wipe down with a damp cloth. Every colour in the palette is available in a semi-matte finish or a high-gloss finish. Specific shades and inspirations are best discussed directly — a photo of the interior the frame is meant to match is enough to start. Lead time for a made-to-measure order is usually a few weeks from confirmation of details. Orders, quotes for non-standard sizes, and advice on choosing a finish are handled through the contact form or by e-mail.
