Craftsmanship

The frame mouldings are made from solid wood and joined at the corners with wooden dowels. This is a classic, reliable joinery solution that guarantees a stable structure resistant to warping over years of use. The wood is then hand-painted with several coats of pastel paint and, once dry, distressed by hand. The wiping reveals the wood grain and earlier layers of paint, creating the patina effect that defines the Shabby Chic style. Finally, the frame is sealed with lacquer, which improves moisture resistance and makes everyday cleaning easier. Traditional craft techniques ensure the durability and elegance of every piece.

What sets this frame apart from mass production

Every frame is painted by hand, with no stencils or automated paint application. This means no two pieces are alike — the pattern of distressing, the intensity of the patina and the visibility of the grain are individual to each frame. Functionality

The mirror is fitted with two hidden wall brackets that allow it to be hung in either portrait or landscape orientation, with no need to swap accessories. The MDF backing protects the glass from mechanical damage. The SGG Miralite® Pure Diamant 4 mm OptiWhite glass has a reduced iron oxide content, so the reflection stays neutral in colour, without the greenish tint typical of standard mirrors. The lacquered frame finish makes the piece suitable for the bathroom and other rooms with higher humidity.

Option: bevelled mirror

The mirror glass can be finished with a ground bevel up to 20 mm wide. The bevel adds a soft refraction of light at the edge of the glass and lifts the decorative quality of the piece — a detail that sits well with the romantic, vintage character of the frame.

Additional option: anti-fog mirror with heating mat

For bathrooms, an optional heating mat can be fitted behind the glass to prevent condensation on the surface. After a shower or bath the mirror stays clear and ready to use — a practical solution for daily use.
