The dimensions given include the entire mirror together with the frame. The moulding width is 69 mm and is fixed — it cannot be changed.

Craftsmanship

The frame is hand-prepared and gilded with genuine gold leaf. Each one is made in my workshop using traditional joinery and gilding techniques. Solid wood is carefully selected for grain and structure. The corners of the frame are joined with wooden dowels, which ensures structural stability and resistance to deformation over many years of use.

Once the wood is prepared, the surface is carefully painted black – on both the front and the sides – and then sealed with lacquer. Selected areas are then gilded by hand with white gold leaf, applied one leaf at a time with great precision. Traditional craftsmanship gives every piece its lasting quality and elegance. The polished, chrome-like gilding catches light in a subtle, cool way, making the frame a natural fit for contemporary interiors where detail and tonal balance matter.

What sets this frame apart from mass production

Unlike mass-produced models, this frame is made entirely in my workshop, to individual order. That means full control over every stage – from selecting the wood, through preparing and painting the surface, to the hand-gilding. Each piece is unique, and the attention to detail means it will not feel dated after a few seasons. The collection also includes other wall mirrors and freestanding mirrors in a similar style, available in different colour and size variants.

Functionality

The frame is solid and stable, and the wall brackets allow it to be hung either vertically or horizontally. The back of the mirror is made of MDF, which protects the glass and adds rigidity. The SGG Miralite® Pure Diamant 4 mm OptiWhite glass guarantees perfect clarity and natural colour reproduction, without the green tint typical of standard mirrors. The frame is sealed with high-quality lacquer, making it moisture-resistant and suitable for bathrooms.

Option: bevelled mirror glass

A bevelled glass option is available on request — a polished edge a few millimetres wide that adds an extra play of light and emphasises the handcrafted character of the frame.

Optional: anti-fog mirror with heating mat

The mirror can be ordered with a heating mat that prevents the glass from fogging up — a practical solution especially for bathrooms.

Personalisation and made-to-measure orders

Each of my mirrors can be made in a different colour and finish – from full gloss through satin semi-matt to deep matt. The frame can be matched to other elements of your interior so that the whole composition feels coherent.
