Mirror in a white frame, made to measure, with a wide flat 70 mm moulding. Built from high-quality solid wood, hand-painted in satin white, joined with wooden dowels. Glass: SGG Miralite® Pure Diamant 4 mm, OptiWhite
A mirror in a white frame with a wide, flat 70 mm moulding, made for anyone who wants quiet modern geometry instead of decoration. The frame is built from solid, high-quality wood and finished by hand in a satin white tone — no distressing, no beading, no profiling. Clean lines and a uniform surface turn the frame into an architectural element rather than an accent: calm, ordered, and at home in a modern interior. Every mirror is made to measure to fit a specific wall, console or dressing area.
Where it fits
A white framed mirror in this minimalist form sits naturally in Scandinavian, Japandi, modern classic and soft-loft interiors. It works against off-whites, warm greys, beige and muted earth tones, and equally well as a bright counterweight to deeper backgrounds — navy, graphite or forest green.
Above a console in the living room it opens the wall and adds lightness. In the bedroom it enlarges the space over a dressing table. In the hallway the wide moulding gives the entrance order and proportion, while the pale surface picks up light from the front door or a pendant. It also works in a well-ventilated bathroom, pairing cleanly with white ceramic and modern cabinetry.

How it is made
The frame is built using traditional joinery. Corners are joined with wooden dowels, which keeps the structure stable and resistant to warping over years of use. Once assembled, the mouldings are sanded, primed and hand-painted in successive coats to achieve a smooth, uniform surface with no visible joins or drips.
The final finish is satin white — a soft matt-satin sheen that doesn't catch spotlights or overpower the room. Close-up, the front of the frame is perfectly even, and the line between white frame and mirror reads as a sharp, decisive edge. The panel and the sides of the frame are painted in the same colour as the front, so the piece can be displayed at any angle without exposing raw wood.
The profile of the moulding is flat, without rounding or ornamentation. It is this restraint that gives the frame its modern character. The wide moulding gives the mirror glass a strong border, turning the piece into something closer to architecture than ornament.
How this frame differs from mass production
Mass-produced white framed mirrors are usually foil-wrapped or spray-painted over factory MDF profiles. The surface looks synthetic, edges are raw, and corner joins show against the light. Here the frame is built from raw moulding in solid, high-quality wood, joined with wooden dowels and finished by hand — giving a deeper, more natural white and a visibly more solid construction. Every piece is made to measure, so there is no compromise with standard shop sizes. The same frame is available both as a wall mirror and as a floor mirror, depending on how the piece will be used.
Function
The mirror is hung using brackets fitted to the back of the frame, and can be mounted in portrait or landscape orientation. The backing is MDF, which protects the glass and stiffens the whole piece.
The glass is SGG Miralite® Pure Diamant 4 mm, OptiWhite — a low-iron pane with none of the greenish cast of standard mirror glass. Colours in the room are returned faithfully, which matters in any space where the mirror is used daily and not only as decoration.
Option: mirror with a bevel
The glass can be finished with a ground bevel on request. The edge of the pane then carries a gentle angled line that catches light and adds a subtle play of reflections. The effect suits modern, geometric interiors particularly well.
Additional option: anti-fog mirror with demister mat
For bathroom use, a heating mat can be fitted behind the glass. It gently warms the mirror surface so that steam does not settle on it. This option requires direct contact at the ordering stage — the mat power is matched to the mirror dimensions.
Personalisation and made-to-measure orders
The same frame is also available in a high-gloss white finish — identical construction, identical profile, different surface. Gloss white reflects light more deeply and resonates more strongly with glamour and modern-classic schemes. The frame can also be produced in another colour from our in-house range of high-pigment craft paints with a handmade character — from clean whites through broken beiges to deep graphites and blacks.
Every mirror is built to the exact dimensions the client provides. You can send a photo of the interior, a wall-paint sample or a reference image — we'll match the tone and format so the frame works with that specific space. Lead time is agreed individually, depending on size and workshop load.
