Mirror in a white glamour frame, hand-made from high-quality solid wood and finished in high gloss. Polyurethane lacquer, SGG Miralite® Pure Diamant 4 mm OptiWhite glass. Made to measure.

A mirror in a white glamour frame combines the clarity of white with a deep high-gloss finish. The profiled moulding is 75 mm wide and draws a definite line around the glass, while the polyurethane lacquer catches and deepens the reflections of ambient light. This is a made-to-measure decorative mirror — the frame and the mirror glass are produced to each customer's specification, with the precision of a traditional joinery workshop. It suits modern interiors that call for a luminous accent with a distinct form.

Which interiors it suits

The mirror works in glamour, contemporary and classical interiors alike — wherever light, clean form and an elegant detail matter. High-gloss white pairs well with warm woods, greys and dusty pastels, as well as with bold blacks and gold. It serves as a wall centrepiece in a living room, brightens a hallway, completes a dressing table in a bedroom and acts as a representative element in a bathroom. It also fits commercial interiors — boutiques, consulting rooms, hotels and beauty salons. A decorative mirror in this frame emphasises the character of the room without dominating the rest of the arrangement.

Craftsmanship

The frame is built in the workshop — from timber selection through milling of the moulding profile to sanding, painting and lacquering. The corners are joined with wooden dowels, which stabilises the construction and resists deformation over years of use. Before painting, the surface is sanded repeatedly to achieve an even, uniform structure that carries the high-gloss finish without distortion. White paint is applied in layers, then sealed with polyurethane lacquer — a hard, moisture- and abrasion-resistant coating. The back panel and the sides of the frame are painted in the same colour as the front, so the mirror reads consistently from every angle.

What sets this frame apart from mass production

The difference lies in the construction and the finish. Timber is hand-selected and the moulding profile is milled to draw a sharp, definite line — neither flat nor overloaded with detail. The high-gloss finish requires several coats of lacquer and repeated sanding; a production line simply does not allow this level of care. Traditional workshop techniques are what give each piece its durability and its elegance. Both wall-mounted and standing versions of the mirror in this frame are available to order.

Functionality

The mirror is fitted with wall brackets. The customer specifies the mounting orientation — vertical or horizontal — at the order stage. The HDF backing stabilises the glass and protects it from the rear. SGG Miralite® Pure Diamant 4 mm in OptiWhite quality offers the highest level of clarity — the reflection is neutral, without the greenish tint typical of cheaper glass. The polyurethane lacquer makes the frame moisture-resistant, which allows the mirror to be used in a bathroom.

Option: bevelled glass

The mirror can be made with a ground bevel up to 20 mm wide — approximately 5 mm is concealed by the rebate, while around 15 mm remains visible. The bevel catches light at the edge of the glass and emphasises the decorative character of the mirror.

Additional option: anti-fog heating mat

For bathroom versions the mirror can be fitted with a heating mat that prevents condensation from forming on the glass. This is particularly useful in windowless bathrooms and in rooms with high humidity.

Personalisation and made-to-measure orders

  • a different frame colour from the curated paint range,
  • finish variant: high gloss or semi-matte,
  • mirror glass with a ground bevel up to 20 mm, or without a bevel,
  • an anti-fog heating mat for bathroom versions,
